Model Pregnancies
In case you were looking for another reason to hate on the genetically blessed, a group of pregnant models proved this year that they could look just as gorgeous in their third trimesters as they do on the runways—and the paparazzi were happy to supply photographic evidence to that effect. Karolina Kurkova and Adriana Lima welcomed babies earlier this fall, and Gisele Bündchen and Jourdan Dunn, the latter of whom gamely walked for Jean Paul Gaultier at seven months along, both gave birth in December. Heidi Klum, meanwhile, inspired envy in new moms across the globe when she debuted her post-baby body on the Victoria's Secret catwalk a mere six weeks after little Lou Sulola arrived. This beats her previous record of maternity ward-to-lingerie runway by two weeks. Apparently, they don't call them "supers" for nothing.
