my CÉLINE sunglasses arrived! i've been hunting down these lovelies forever,
so when i finally found them online (a rarity for céline!) at THE WEBSTER MIAMI i was ecstatic.
it was so hard deciding between the green + beige, but i think i made the right choice ♥

ps- how did i not know about the webster sooner?! their amazing designer selection = serious danger to my wallet.

it's decided. these will be my summer staples.
ever since seeing the fishtail braids in the obakki f/w show, i was hooked.
the rag & bone hat is a given... i mean their hats are perfection!

OBAKKI

i went to vancouver a couple weeks ago for the OBAKKI F/W 2011 show + had an AMAZING
time! i had a chance to visit their gorgeous store + check out all of the lovely S/S 2011
collection. the prints were dreamy, the bags were buttery soft + margot, who manages the
store, had the best hair color ever! i've been looking for a way to subtly add pink to my
brunette hair, so hers is perfect inspiration. anyway, if you are ever visiting vancouver or
live there, stop by! their team is SUPER nice. if you can't visit, shop their online store.
gahhh so many great things-- i promise you'll find something you ♥.

i ♥ LA

as some of you may know from my twitter- i just got back from a little vacation in LA ♥
i wanted to share some of my trip with you guys, so i put together these images.
i had an AMAZING time + am dying to go back... or just move there!
i got to stay at PALIHOUSE which is a must if you are in LA.
if not to stay, make sure to get dinner + drinks at their COURTYARD BRASSERIE.

SPARKLE

after i made THIS post, i was dying to get my nails covered in crystals.
thankfully my friend ann from HOLIER THAN NOW knew of the perfect place!
we both went to VALLEY in nyc last week to get it done.
it's a silver glitter gel manicure with swarovski crystals placed one by one.
it took less than two hours + is supposed to last for weeks.

this is my new ring from TOOSIS -- i absolutely adore it!
my dad says it looks like i have two little amethyst + gold cakes on my finger ☺

I recently made THIS post about my love for agate necklaces + just had to get one!
i found the perfect one at one of my favorite etsy stores TRIBE NOUVEAU ♥
been obsessing over combining navy + black lately, so this has been a great way
to mix a little navy into my pretty much all black wardrobe.

KENNETH COLE

last week i was invited to the KENNETH COLE showroom for an intimate,
sit down dinner to preview the spring 2011 collection.
an invite came on a sony bloggie with a special video message from kenneth himself!!
the presentation was gorgeous, the clothes + accessories to die for + the food delicious!
while we ate waiters carried around trays displaying the fab shoes- so cute!
ooo and i had a chance to speak with kenneth- super charming + funny ♥
my coveted items of the night had to be the brown leather bag + the green wrap up sandals.
